Has it really been a year now since we first went "live on the Web" to bring folks high quality, hand made period clothing at exceptional prices? The time certainly goes by quickly! But it's a great opportunity to say "Thank you" to all the wonderful people we have met and with whom we have conversed over the past year. Even though the Internet often seems a lonely and impersonal place to shop, we have developed several very memorable and lasting relationships whith people we have had the pleasure of working with.

A new year also lets us look ahead to the things to come. There are several new and exciting things in the works that I think everyone will enjoy and find useful.

  • Our new gallery has been very popular, and allows visitors to speak up with their own comments. Make sure your voice is heard!
  • Our About You page is now working, so be sure and check it out! It's all about you, our customers, with photos and things you've said.
  • We are teaming up with a select few partners to offer a greater variety of period related items in our web store, such as fragrances lotions and oils and hand forged tools. So be sure to check our web catalog soon for these great new items!
  • A fabrics page so you can see examples of the quality material that goes into each of our outfits. There are so many varieties of fabric designs and combinations that it is sometimes difficult to decide, and this page should help.
  • More information and resources on the dress and customs of the high Medieval and Renaissance periods. We have been doing a lot of research and gathering of information from all over. There is a lot of conflicting information as well, and when appropriate we will try to give all the views that are currently accepted.
  • Many MANY more products in our catalog. Shirley has been working long hours creating new designs and products to offer a wide and varied selection.
